1. Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel a booking prior to the scheduled pickup time. Cancellation charges will apply based on the timing of the cancellation:
- More than 24 hours before pickup: No cancellation fee.
- Within 24 hours but more than 2 hours before pickup: 25% of the total fare will be charged.
- Less than 2 hours before pickup or in case of no-show: 50% of the total fare will be charged.
For outstation trips, additional cancellation charges may apply depending on distance, vehicle category, and booking conditions.
2. Refund Process
Eligible refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment used during booking. Refund processing typically takes 5–7 business days, depending on the payment gateway or banking institution. Customers are advised to check their bank or card statements for confirmation once the refund is initiated.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds may not be applicable in the following cases:
- No-show by the customer without prior cancellation.
- Bookings made under promotional offers or discounted fares marked as non-refundable.
- Additional charges incurred during the trip such as tolls, parking fees, extra stops, or extra waiting time.
4. Rescheduling Policy
Bookings may be rescheduled up to 12 hours before the scheduled pickup time, subject to vehicle availability. Fare differences or additional charges may apply based on the revised schedule.
5. How to Cancel or Request a Refund
To cancel a booking or initiate a refund request:
- Log in to your Oxen Cab account.
- Navigate to the "My Bookings" section.
- Select the relevant booking and click on "Cancel Booking."
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the cancellation process.
